9Lives was a class project that I worked on with Aaron Martin. My responsibilities were art, design, and programming. I animated the main character, Mittens, and created about half the other art assets. Aaron and I designed and implemented the levels together. It was developed in Flash.
9Lives is the story of Mittens, a cat that falls from his 22nd story penthouse during the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. He must navigate the festive environment to make his way back home. Along the way, he learns that he can harness the power of static electricity to manipulate the environment around him.
